By
using the PC Windows base utility(WinBlast.EXE) and there are two
processes need to be done .
|
(1)
|
By
using one of the Star Pro to search all the transponders that you
want and stored then use the "Upload NVM" feature to
upload all the channel data from Star Pro to PC(stored in an
assigned file). |
|
(2)
|
By
using the "Download NVM" feature of this utility to
download the assigned file of process (1) to other Star Pro and
then all the setting of this Star Pro will same as the front one . |

Software
upgrade |
|
By
using the PC Windows base utility(WinBlast.EXE) This utility may automatic
detect the baud rate and serial port that you use.
|
Step1:
|
Power
on StarPro. |
|
Step2:
|
Connect
the 9-pin D-sub connector (Null-modem cable) from PC to Star Pro. |
|
Step3:
|
Copy
the downloaded file (for flash ROM download is *.bin) and
Eastern's IRD WinBlast to your PC . |
|
Step4:
|
Execute
WinBlast.EXE |
|
Step5:
|
Use
browse "¡K" button to select the binary image file |
|
Step6:
|
Click
the Download Flash button |
|
Step7:
|
PC
will start to download the new software to Star Pro and it shows
the process bar on screen ,on the other hand, IRD will show the
download message on TV ,too.Once finish the download process ,IRD
will start to write the downloaded data into its flash ROM ,in the
meanwhile front panel will show "888".Once finish the
process , system will auto re-boot automatically . |

this case ,you need to power off and then power on the system power by
pressing the front panel power button. |
